Please Just Listen
By Cateye
do you know what you are looking at?
dirty eyes...
can't help it,
hit or miss.
sceptical eyes...
everyone knows you,
telling their secrets,
just close your eyes.
don't speak...
only watching,
while the world digs eachother's graves,
all the while smiling,
with curses on their tounges.
do you know the words on your back?
only to be spoken when turned,
i know whats written on mine,
i don't mind,
some may be the truth,
most are lies,
i don't mind,
do you know what you are talking about?
dirty mouths,
speading your disease,
anti or pro,
as the coin falls,
influencial suggestion,
no longer fifty/fifty,
please shut your mouths,
just watch.
don't speak.
listen for the truths in the silence.
