Little contradictions

By physicalgraffiti

To be touched when not tangible.
To be heard while screaming.
To see the world for what it is...

after going blind.

To cut to stay alive.
To walk through the dark while searching for the light.
To lay in the rain, only to stay dry.
For every tear that falls after a long-wanted kiss.
For every smile that occurs when a love is lost.
For every minute i spend loving you.

Life isnt fair.

No one's ever right.
My little contradictions drive me crazy...

drive me wild.

My love for you is such a paradox.

Whats wrong with me?
Is there something happening here?
Whats wrong with you?

Will there ever be anything here?
Why am i standing here yelling at you?
When i know so stupidly the words will never sink through.

So i give in.
I give up.

To life's little contradictions.

I just love "To be touched when not tangible"! Flows beautifully, in my opinion your best poem yet. ~no_i
