Resolution

By Flayed_Soul

You've pushed me; now I'm about to break
How much more did you think I could take?
Leading me on to fill your need,
Breaking me down with your greed.
You like just knowing I'll be around,
Laughing behind my back, thinking I'm a clown.
Tell me everything I don't want to hear
And saving everything else for someone else's ear.
You think this is the way it's going to be?
Playing games, not giving a fuck about me?
Now I know what it is you do
To make sure everyone thinks of nothing but you.
One day, when I'm all that's around,
I'm to take you back without making a sound?
I'll tell you that you no longer mean anything good;
I'll push you away until the message is understood.
In the time gone by I've learned to go on my way,
Because when you had a choice, you chose not to stay.
