The Sound of Inevitability

By Flayed_Soul

So many choices, only one way,
Absent from every day.
Seen to come and pass,
Left so fast,
So indifferent, so cold,
Telling a story so old.
Float in a lake, walk in fire
Live a nightmare, inhabit a mire.
Take life and let it shatter,
But none of it seems to matter.
One breath
To call Death
Take away pain
Nothing to gain
Forgotten name
Everyone the same.
