Strenuous Labyrinth
By Chalin
wait.
hold stale, cigarette-
haunted breath.
the Queen squints
at me while i write this,
her eyes hazed with
THC.
trace the size of
your promise around
my finger, the way
it overlaps my knuckle.
it slides down a chain,
meeting my own.
your words are up
against my wall,
bleeding ink and
hours.
i sleep beneath
your Porn.

"your words are up against my wall, bleeding ink and hours" I love the NYC graffetti staind industrial/jazz style rhythmic flow to this indiglow poem. Synchopated & off-time; splendid & strenuous!
