A Second of Truth

By Mauler

It crawls
Across the skin
Through the curtain we raise
What lie did we tell to get this?
Just one
So far
It never ends
We have proof that it can’t
Though that proof won’t be shown to you
Ever
Believe
All you have left
Is what we left to you
Or so it would seem from this side
Or that
Don’t wait
Time is falling
Or maybe just burning
Regardless, you have no time left
So stop
