Murmurs of the forgotten

By LIFEINVADER

Lost in a maze of shifting dreams,
I ask you, stranger, where do I stand?

Moments slip by, memories distort,
I'm not quite who you understand.

Kindly, wanderer, why does my reflection waver?
Behind these eyes, a soul unsure.

Strange occurrences, a foggy mind,
something's amiss within my dreams.

Tell me, traveler, what's become of time?
I've wandered off the path, it seems.

Blurry visions, a touch of madness,
things feel unclear, thoughts obscure.

Guide me, stranger, to where I belong,
forgetting what once mattered to me.

Will this darkness lift, will light return?
...
Or are you, too, just a fragment of the grim I see?
