The Meaning

To love and be loved is the meaning of life
To find your soulmate, your husband, your wife

Honesty, trust, kindness, and care
Having respect and loyalty when they aren't there

It's an easy equation we often miscalculate
We do and say things without these values and it only complicates

Complicates this thing we're programmed to do
You loving me and I loving you

That's not to say it's always easy and light
The way we solve problems when we have a fight

Can strengthen our bond or pull us apart
Create a deeper understanding or break our hearts

You don't like my anger in silence, I hate when you look for distraction
When we cope like this, we hurt the other, and feel dissatisfaction

I know in my heart God created me to love you
One soul and one spirit sent to this world as two

So let's honor eachother, and do this right
and the Lord will bless our love with His radiant light
