Bloodstained Calligraphy

By Smiles

I write in flowing crimson
Sordid memoirs of lost souls
Their agonizing screams
Portray the pain echoed in my poetry
I am but a vessel haunted
Coalesced with the dead
Gossamer spun from the inkwell
The loose leaf is caught in the web
There is no escape from the spectres
Tangling their thoughts in my head
Vile visions of viscera
Flash frame in my brain
Blood spills on the page from my veins
The world fades away in a haze
I'm stuck in this place
Weathered, withered faces plague
Thoughts I can't placate
Implicated fake faith
They say that I'm facing fate
With the silver tongues of snakes
But I just translate their hate
In a way I can relay
I only hope that you can't relate
