Shimmering Blinds

By DeificLightning

They spin lies into fairy dust,
Sprinkling shimmering flecks to cover the rust.
Turning a blind eye
And continuing the lie,
While in truth they all run and hide.
For it doesn’t take a courageous heart
Too see the pain the world has wrought.
Only the ignorant, lacking kindness
Possess the true meaning of blindness.
