Memory

By morbiddemonchild

As I turn the pages of my life
I realize it is no more of a book than it was yesterday
The pages full of empty memories
Tracing the lines of your face with mine
Nothing has gone wrong yet nothing is right
The warmth of your smile filled my heart
Now I'm alone and lost in the dark
Seeking an answer I shall not find
I still am in the search
The scars made with the words stand for all to see
But most of all they stand as a memory
