“This is my beloved son,” was all you ever said.
Just bury me dead in the blood of your heart
Flowing out of my neck from this unhealing scar
From the razorblade fangs that injected inside me
The demons that filled me the night that you killed me
In dark scarlet shadows that dwell where you are
Cast by the light of your once-beating heart
~6~
But how will I bury the hatred within?
I’ll paint the earth red with the blood of my
heart
Pouring out of your head from this pentagram
star
In the mirror that murdered the angel beside
you
Reflected behind you, the night to remind you
Of dark scarlet rivers that fall where I am
Cloaked yet untouched by the weight of my sin
~1~
Just carry me dead in the blood of your heart
Dripping out of my lips from my innermost scar
From the razor-sharp rib which broke free to confine me
And shredding inside me the God who designed me
Abandoned me dead to reside where you are
Cast to the night with your once-beating heart
~8~
But how can I carry the weight of my sin?
I’ll paint red the sky with the blood of my
heart
Seeping out of your eyes from this hexagram star
From the fire that welded the spirit inside you
With venom I fed you the night that I bled you
Through dark scarlet windows above where I am
Closed yet untouched by the hatred within
~0~
Just cover me dead in the blood of your heart
Draining out of your bosom and into the dark
Where a baby is buried, your image inscribing
The body asleep where forever you’ll hide me
In white peaceful wonders adorned by the sun
But formed by the waters enclosed in my womb
That cover you warmly, encompassed and free
Submerged again breathing the air that I breathe
Destroyed by the storm that returned to restore me
Your heartbeat above me the moment you loved me
Made one lonely wave in an ocean of blood
Creating a cord that shall never be cut
"This is my beloved daughter, risen from the dead."

Heaven is just a rumor that will be dispelled by her... brilliant poetry.

Thanks...yeah, I admit I have a deep fascination with the idea of the new birth. Time will tell.
