Choices

By Kardold

Sitting here in candle light.
Wishing you were here tonight
Silence and darkness overwhelm.
Working hard to wear me down.
Shaveing off my flesh and bone.
Makeing me feel so alone
My nails and teeth decay.
Will I live out the day?
Curtains and a door hide the outside,
the voices moaning.
Should I abide?
Destroy the love and this life.
All because of a tiny strife?
The choice on my shoulders.
Feeling heavy as a boulder.
The flame flickers a bit.
I fear this is it.
Do I listen to the voices?
Or do I make the right choices?
You decide
I abide
