KNOCK AT THE DOOR .... (Inspired by - girl scout cookies )

By cogitative

bake sale
fundraising

as she set's out to spread her vision
never contemplating her decision.

constantly dwelling on what is is that she's selling

hesitation is none.
excitation has won

pretending to understand me
condescending how she brands me.

thank you for your adoration
I'll pass on that collaboration
between the lines of desperation
society is the reprobation.

door to door she knocks and rings every bell
like a girl scout with an abundance of cookies to sell.

streetwalker
smooth talker

where you draw the line it's all crooked
my lines are always strait.

lures on the hook using flattery for bait.
hook line and sinker
a glass of wine.
will you drink her?
your an interesting machine and she loves to tinker.

im a bird of a different feather
part of the herd as you endeavour
door to door with so much effort.

jumping around playing leapfrog
barking at my feet like a playful sheepdog

your temptation is non existent
your intentions exposed

you can knock all you want but my door will stay closed.
for a fool you must have took me
but i dont want your cookies.
