🌻they wish weed die ************************

By MR feathered fox

Definition of a weed
1.
a wild plant growing where it is not wanted and in competition with cultivated plants

They call us weeds
As if we Dandelion's
Are not Afrocentric roses

They moe us down when we rise
Even spray us down with their water hoses

They wish !!!!
weed die !!!!
Making traditions
Out of our dispositions
Blowing us away
In honer of their Superstitions

But my family is long
And the roots are strong
Like the star seeds
that sprout from my head

My ancestors paved the way
Threw weed be gone
Picket signs
And violent police
With their weed whackers
And round up spray mace

And the root cause
Was so we could grow free

As Free as the trees
That dance in the breeze

As free as the tulips
That kiss with the bee's

I know they hate to see us grow
But what we were meant to be
Is far beyond pottery

I'm not a head full of dreams
To be plucked" for one's thrills
Nor"" Blown away by hot air
In attempts to fulfill
Ones wants & wishes

I know myself
I know my roots
Do you know yourself?
Who are you ?

Are you
In tune
With the sun
The Stars
& moon?

To understand
Is to understand
The metamorphosis
Of Dandelions in Bloom

(They wish)
(Weed die)

Cuzz we've never forget
The forget me nots...

I know they hate to see us grow
So everyday they blow us away

Only to see a thousand more
(Lion seeds) grow in our place
They will never take our pride
In exchange for a pillagers faith

For We know
If they had things their way
Our sunflowers would never bloom
To see the light of day

prison yards
will NVR bind us
To their boundaries
We will grow threw the gates

For growing is our cause
And the wind is our way... ********************************************************* Dedicated to my ancestry
