A Letter To You.

By Jay Dumas

To My Love,
It's ben weeks since we said goodbye. My eyes have not seen a dry day yet. All I wish for is one more night, one more kiss, one more chance to hold you.. The only thing that keeps me going, is the knowledge that I will see you again.
I lay awake in this bed at night and I drift of into a memory, of you dancing around our living room in my shirt. You were so beautiful with that, silly smile and child like laugh. The way you would swing your hair around and giggle at my loving looks.
Our late night talks, interrupted by hours of love making. We couldn't get enough of each other. Like we wanted to crawl into one another. When we are together we are unstoppable. Like nothing in this world matters but us. The way you make me feel, is so powerful. Like I am the best man in the world. You always felt so safe in my arms.
Do you remember our walk in the rain? I do. I remember taking your hand, stopping you and kissing you so hard, as the rain fell down on us. That's when I knew. That moment right there. That's the moment I knew you had changed my heart forever. I would move heaven and earth to make you proud, to make you. feel what I feel.
I used to watch you sleep, and often wonder what it was you were dreaming about, that brought that smile to my Angel's face. I can still feel your soft skin on my finger tips, your kiss on my lips. I can still feel your breathe in my ear as you whispered, I love you.
Soon my love, soon we will be together. Soon you will be safe in my arms. Soon I will be in your loving embrace. Soon my love, soon.
                                                               Love always,
                                                                          Me.
