Blood Stained Walls

All is lost and even hope is an illusion. 
An illusion of love and faith, as hands tremble in a steely grip. 
A squeeze a pull, for one last trip. 
Visions blur, sight is lost. 
Peace at last, high is cost. 
No more pain, nor torment recalls. 
As he is mesmerized by the blood stained walls......
