Daily dreams of mental escape
A metamorphosis of prior state
Trapped in the gravity of your distaste
Hopelessly clawing at a further date
Dont mimic me and take the bait
A selfless mind that you cant negateĀ
The cover charge is a common rape
In frames of mind that dissociate

I felt a tone of frustration and anger in this poem which I enjoyed. It felt raw and real and I enjoyed it. Well done!

It's probably the coffee talking, but I found this to be a frantic piece to read. Something about it seems urgent. The syllable count for each line throws me off, but that's really just a personal problem for me and not something wrong with your writing. Anyways, nice piece. I encourage more (assuming the signature at the end is your own).
