N O S T A L G I A

It was a serene place of immense beauty 
and unimaginable tranquility
Until the day your memory came crashing down like a meteor falling from space,
soaring through the sky 
tearing through the clouds of oblivion 
and ultimately breaking the canopy of bliss I’ve constructed of false strength and delusion
My fortress of solitude had been no more 
And your memory ran freely, infecting my every thought 
It was like a disease spreading through the human body, 
Multiplying to quick to eliminate 
before I had known it, I was a broken man yet again, lost in the sentiments and in love with the 
N O S T A L G I A
