I see fire

By SilenttPerception

I see fire..
Burning the trees

At last..

Nay shall I cover my eyes,
for darkness no longer taking part

Watch the flames burn on and on,
consuming this lonely town

I feel the heat upon my heart.

Intervals of solitary and depression
No longer caught between,

I feel a new start.

Descending..
the depths of surreal happiness.

My smile, indicating my departure from this cult..

At last..

Nay shall I cover my eyes,
for darkness no longer taking part.

Author's Note:

It seems as if though that we always find ourselves tugged towards the cult of depression more often than happiness, I just want to be happy again. Its funny, but i think i am falling for her.
