I Welcome Death

By SirEnders

I am fed up with your lies and slander
You have no power, you’re no commander.
Watch your own life fall apart
At least let mine start.
It’s hard to wake up when you lose hope
Just wanting to be in someone’s scope.
Hear the explosion and accept the shot
Claw at the wound so it doesn’t clot.
Wanting to bleed out and finally fade
I can finally give up on this exhausting façade.
No one seems to care about the consequence
Everyone trying to explain religious nonsense.
There is no God, why would he let his world die
There are many people out there who just lie.
Why can’t people just overlook me
Why can I just set myself free?
I hate so many things and love so few
I am tired of this hell I am going through.
Tonight is the night, tonight is the end
Seems like all I do to people is offend.
I keep to myself, people become cheery
But when I speak people say I am eerie.
No one cares if I leave this world
‘Round and ‘round the options swirled.
I could use my knives, guns, or any drug
Someone is bound to find me on this rug.
I bid you adieu, I hate myself more than you
My grip on life and reality has gone askew.
Take this knife and gradually cut my throat deeper
I fear no one, not you, not pain, not even the Reaper.
I welcome the Death and the painless afterlife
He strolls up to me, with an erected scythe.
I’ll walk upon it like Brutus on his sword
I have no Caesar, nor anyone on any accord.
I am just waiting for this life to end
Like you would wait for your friend.
Patiently and calmly waiting to be chosen
In death is where I want to be frozen.
Love me or hate me, I don’t care, until death we part
If death is too slow, I’ll choose my own peril from my chart.
My last ally has turned on me, a slimy newt
“Et tu Brute?”
