Somewhere Along The Way

By Angel Plant

A  life was born
As a page unturned
Then it all slipped away
Like gray faded skies

Almost  like a  black tie
Floating in the sky
It brings a void
Like a word unsaid

My sad eyes bleed
Somewhere along the way
In the deepest part of my soul
With a memory so strong
