Guilty As Charged

By FireAsylum

Is it my fault
   To be who I am
    To hurt myself
     Whenever I can

Who am I
  To ask for the better
   For every tear
    For every soul I shatter

Is it my fault
  Am I to blame
   That every effort I make
    Goes down the drain

Should I be guilty
  For what I have done
   For every soul I've hurt
    In the long run

Am I to be imprisoned
To ask for what is mine
   For what I cry
And bleed for all the time

Am I known to the fact
  That prisoners are rotten
For all the hurt they cause
    They are never forgotten

Is it crystal clear
  For everyone to see
   Trapped by my mind
    That prisoner is me

So it is my fault
  I am to blame
To be tied at the stake
    And go down in flames
