Shed some Light on This Forsaken Soul

By darkangel

Shed some Light on This Forsaken Soul
Plunged into an abyss of darkness
Shed some light on this forsaken soul
Be her breath of freshness
Before her body breaks down
Before she gets cold
Before her life is taken.
Shed some light on this forsaken soul
Before her life which was once whole
Becomes one with the mold.
A creature lower than human creation
Save her from her endless depression
Before it leads to her ultimate destruction.
Shed some light on this forsaken soul
Before the girl I once knew to be me
Who once was all smiles
Who once was carefree
Turns into something you would never want to see.
Before she crumbles
Before she tumbles
Before she mumbles
Her last words to this beautiful ironic world.
Shed some light on this forsaken soul
Give her a chance to see herself grow old.
Give her a chance to rebuild herself and grow bold
Save this child whose life, from this experience, has taken it's toll
Shed some light on this forsaken soul.
