Sometimes words have no need to be said
Our hearts speak louder and stronger than any words could ever say
All we need to do is listen, and we can hear everything its saying
Whispering truths within all the chaos in our heads
Thoughts bleed from our hearts to our minds
Through veins filled with words of ache and wanting
They reach our throats only to be silently swallowed
Filling us up with even more regret and sorrow
A heart beats a steady rhythm in the quiet of the night
Letting us know we’re still here, still with a purpose
Even with all the scars from hurt and broken promises
Still speaking words of hope, faith and loves remembered
It only takes to listen, and you will hear the truth you need
