forevermore

By darkangel

I hear your voice in the sounds of the world"..
I lived my life my way, unfettered by normal constraints, unaffected by those who passed through my path.
Until you.
The bustle of the world enveloped my senses and captured my attention until one fateful day.
There, midst the commotion of life, stood a man whose light seemed to rise from within as he watched the antics of the people around him.
Your silhouette traced against the light of a fading day beamed with an angelic glow.
Try as I might, I couldn't take my eyes away from your beautiful smile, mere moments before our gaze met.
The roar of the city faded away in that moment as I lost myself in your soulful eyes, the noise disapating to nothing. Coming face to face with an angel, words failed me and my lips refused to move.
I could neither speak nor move as the hope of a lifetime finally whispered in a soul adrift and lost.
Your hand gently creeping into mine, your soft features mesmerized as you learned forward to whisper, your supple cheek grazing mine.
Your words serenaded my spirit in those moments just before the explosion of starlight dusted love fused with the melodic symphony of soulful melding of two hearts.
To this day, in a room full of people and a world crammed with chorus of chaotic sounds, the only song I hear is yours..a sweetly compelling aria that kisses my soul with the promise of your undying love.
It is in your arms that I find my home, and in your heart the love I would wait a thousand lifetimes for.
In a world full of noise, I hear only your song forevermore

This is so goddamn romantic, a facet of mine I had almost forgotten. Thank you for bringing it back.
