Cold dancers

By katsmeow

A touchless world, a lonely place
  and yet I'm not alone
We pirouette around our rooms
  and borrowed smiles we're shown
Around and 'round, we'll come so close
  "excuse me", "sorry", "pardon me"
Perfect distance, never touching
this orbit way too cold for me
Surviving yes, but living...no
  our distances we keep
The only time we really touch
is when, at night, we sleep
This cold existence, starving souls
  our lonely circumstance
And deep inside my soul I beg...
  'release me from this dance'
