Been A Son

By Soul Surviver

A life
That no one tried to save
My life
Is all I cared to make
Our lives
Will never be the same
My desires
Made sex ok
A chance
Is all you deserved to have
My love
Wasn't enough to give you the same
At night
I swear I hear him cry for me
At times
I wish I'd have been brave
Regret
Fills me that I never gave you a name.

Damn, this is deep. Don't let regret own you, or you'll never live. Keep it up :)
