Sense of Direction
By Geronimo
Following my own shadow towards the concept of living out loud,
Contemplating my next move as I crawl through the crowd,
Could someone please tell me,
Which way is down?
Following my own example toward heaven or hell,
Which way the sun sets I cannot tell,
Could someone please tell me,
Which way is out?
Following my existence of passive imperfection,
step by step, twist by twist, searching for human connection,
I have lost all sense of direction.
Could someone please tell me,
Which way is up?...

The image of following yourself in different directions without knowing exactly which way it is your going is a powerful one, and has connection to many's lives, as I have been through this myself

You're following yourself throughout the poem but are still lost... Powerful image..I like the rhythm it's almost repetitive but not quite...Well done

Wow, very nice. I like how it all flowed. Simple, yet complicated on its own level.
