Through the Strife

By Alice_I_Wonder

A rose willing to bloom in the cold of December
A rebellious drop of rain
The last stubborn leaf on the tree
Won't you help me through the pain?

A hearth whose fire grew to warm
I need this in my life
The first and last star in the sky
Help me through this strife.

This star, the rain, a rose, a fire
I need you in my life
I cannot do this without my stable rock
Please, help me through my strife.

Though you ask for help, your words scream solitary persistence... Very nice!
