Unification

By nkronsch

In this ocean
    I hear the soothing roar
of the God I never believed in.
As the rain pours
from the veins of the sky
Streaking her mascara (for once not with tears)
--

I smile, and recieve hers
for amidst the greys and oranges of a cloudy sunset
                    the abalone's white stands clear
She leans down
    Whispering silk into my ear
        through her cracked lips
            Gazing hope into my eyes
                From green to blue...
                    From naive to wise.
As the water shimmers
with the dying beams of a setting sun
            these two average souls
become, at last, a magnificent one.

I gave it my best shot. Nothing could truly describe the serenity and overwhelming love at that moment.

Savage, wild, rainy love, and as always a beautiful pace that creates images vivid and quivering. I think I'm gonna be your fan.
