Who am I?

By horrorchantenshi

Who am I?
that you ask,
I'm afraid I cannot answer
I wish that I could say
I was a ballet dancer.

I'd dance across the stage
the bright lights, fill my eys
And everyone would cheer and clap
at the beautiful surprise.

But sadly I am not,
but a mesely little girl
trapped inside her bedroom
writing fantasy worlds.

I wish that I could tell you
that I'm something more,
But everything that I am
is always such a bore.

Who am I?
that you ask,
I'm afraid I cannot say,
I wish that I could tell you,
That I was a mermaid.

I'd swim across the ocean
with tons of friendly fish,
but of course I can't
that was just a wish.

But if I was a mermaid
I'd have a golden tail
And they'd all think I'm beautiful,
I'd be a holy grail.

Who am I?
That you ask,
I am nothing great
Just a girl
with hopeless dreams
and nothing on her plate.

This work was really good! You went and explained everything so fluidly! There was one typo, but other than that wow! Keep on writing!
