Into the darkness

By saltyman65

I often wake
In the darkness of my room,

Looking  into the forever…….of  the cracks
                                                    above my bed.

Waiting………………...waiting  for answers to come;

Answers buried to deeply in the unknown black
to be revealed.

I sleep just to fall into these cracks,
falling through  abstract  images, echoing my life through a distortion
of self created anxiety's.
Falling,
Falling into the darkness of the never mind
I find a truth buried in this synapsual collage.
Layered and buried I can see
but not fully digest its meanings.

Straining my eyes to see clearer
a brightness rises dissolving the scene.
Day light quakes.
Falling,
Falling from the cracks in the ceiling,
I crash  into bed awake.
