Words Unspoken

By Alice_I_Wonder

They say life has perfect moments, but what if they are all gone?
These people you love, where will they be in your future?
It's time to say good-bye, so you have time to get used to the pain People leave. We forget that. Your loved ones leave, leave you hollow inside
Gasping for hope and love long forgotten
Friends gone, it's never to be the same again.
I only wish for the impossible, someone who won't leave me
I only wish for the impossible again and again. But paths change. People change They take with them a part of your heart, your past, leaving the emptiness
Promises can be made, but they will always be broken
Always just words said, never meant But we part with words unsaid, thoughts unspoken, actions undone I just need someone to stay sometimes: songs unsung, plans fallen through
All that is left is the memories in my head, and the unspoken
I'll always remember.
I have the pain in my chest to remind me that.
Remind of the summer days, warm nights.
I have the pain to remember the words unspoken.

"I have the pain to remember..." ... Those are some powerful and true words. They say words cut deeper than the physical; I think that's the biggest load of rubbish ever. A touching write indeed. Thanx for sharing :]

Wow...I too am remembering the past tonight...this strikes a tender chord in me, but that's just me...this was wonderful in it's pain...
