Don't Fake It

By Alice_I_Wonder

I know how to fake it, fake the smile and the laugh
I know how to take it, take the pain inside of me
But one thing I can't fake,can't take
Is not knowing you.

So let's pretend for the night we are someone else
Let's pretend the others won't judge us
I want to know, I want to be with you
I can't take it
I can't fake it
When I'm with you.

Let's try again, lets's be friends
I don't have to fake it with you
I don't have to take the pain
Your smile brings me back
When I am with you.

Impressive write, it left me wanting more... more pain in the hope of release.

Wow... This is so freaking relevant for me... I feel like you've just plucked the emotion right from my heart and just masterfully painted it upon this canvas! Bravo!
