Almost Hopeless

I feel something here
Something full of anticipation and joy
I feel it deep within
I feel it to be something that will endure
Last through time
I feel it so strongly I will let the rest die
This feels wicked
Should I deny?
Forsaken promises that once carried weight
They now feel like a must
More like hatred
Breaking it down into pieces
I devour them whole
I want something
More.
A feeling of release
That one connection.
I would give up everything to feel this
This one thing
Everlasting
Your strength
Your love
Your kiss
I don’t want it once or twice
This isn’t a fling
The feeling is so pure it must mean something
Does it mean something to you?
The one for which I want and I wait
Is it something that will ever truly come to fruition
Or am I hopeless in damnation for eschewing the bond I guaranteed?
I am beyond lost
Lost for thoughts
What does it mean when I am willing?
Willing and ready to forsake everything?
What does it make me, when I have given up?
Destroyed and broken any and all trust?
Until I understand - I will be here
I will be here for you.
