Don't Give In

By Lil Demon Lady

Trash the noose,
Break the blade,
Throw the pills away,
Give yourself a few more days,
I know its bad,
I know you're sad,
But I promise you,
You'll soon be glad,
Death is forever,
Suffering is not,
Though it might feel like that a lot,
There is joy,
There is love,
I'm here if you need a hug,
I've been there before,
I seen what's behind those doors,
I know the horrors in those eyes,
But soon there'll be clearer skies,
Just hold on,
Don't give in,
To that temptation,
To the sin,
Life is worth it,
And I'll help you see,
Just how beautiful,
This world can be.

    Danke! ♥

  • A former member wrote: I like the first person perspective. Talking to a suffering soul in confidence. Only a survivor can bring a person back from the edge because they've "been there before". Well done.

Thank you very much. Yeah, I thought that was the best approach for it, considering I wrote it for someone ♥
