Dark poetry is more than just spoken words,
It's our feelings and our lives,
We express ourselves and admit our crimes,
Dark poetry is who we are,
It's like our only good scar,
When we write we feel like we're alright,
This is how we spend our nights,
Entrusting each other with our words of life,
Even though some of us turn to the knife,
