The Only One

By worldunknown31

What’s this life worth living for
I’ve said it time again
Should have been gone long ago
But I find the strength to win

Is it win or lose
Who’s to ever know
Stumble then crawl my way
From all that’s down below

Could I be the only one
The lost and forgotten son
Could I be the only one
Nowhere to hide, yet nowhere to run

Got my head screwed on backwards
But got to keep it straight
When can I look in the glass
And stare it face to face

Is it win or lose
Who’s to ever know
Suffered more than happiness
I’m always on my own

Could I be the only one
The lost and forgotten son
Could I be the only one
Nowhere to hide, yet nowhere to run

Is this life worth fighting for
But will I ever win
Is it win or lose
Who am I to say
Suffered more than happiness
Was my life a big mistake
