APOCALYPSE: The Beginning Of The End

By Gothchic

When Heaven and Hell collide within,
Volcanoes rise from beneath and meteors fall from above...
There is no where to run, to No place to hide away
From the torching flames

For too long it has brewed within my core
And too long the warnings I read from my skies
I knew this all too well
That Heaven and Hell would collide

Hours I spent in trying to find a solution
A solution to a puzzle I wasn't sure of
Days upon years I spent convincing myself
That it would but not in this life time

The first signs I read but ignored
As the fumes rose to choke from beneath
The stars escaped the night skies
And shadows grew all around

The foundations quacked and cracked
The walls breaking and roofs falling
Leaving me exposed above and below
There is no where to run to...Nowhere at all

And as the earth breaks to let out a small stream of molten magma
And lightning bolts and flames start to fall
And then it begun....
The begining of the end....

I like this... How you compare the apocalypse to the war raging within.. Great write :)
