Porcelain Doll.

By horrorchantenshi

Please fix me.
For I have been broken
a thousand times too many.

It seems like every time
I'm whole,
My scars show,
my scars then turn to cuts.
Cuts that crack and shatter
my porcelain skin.

Cover me with your love,
for I have not felt it before.
Yet, I have felt your words foam at your mouth
and slowly,
kill me like poison.

But I am fragile.
My message plastered to my face.
Have you not checked?
"Caution: Handle with care"

And when all my cracks were healed,
and they have vanished,
Why, oh why,
Have you broken off my head?
