Poison

By Antaya

It leaks through your veins,
Burning away old pains,
and leaving new.

Strecthing the miles,
Of intricate lines,
stopping the smiles,
And branding the agony in to you.

Maybe if you're lucky,
it'll happen fast,
But maybe it'll hurt so bad...
You won't realize how much time has passed.

It'll strip the flesh,
from your bones,
Laeving a mess,
of your clothes.

But the worst part about it,
Is when you start to lose your mind.
The poison takes hold and makes it hard to find...
Yourself.

You start to slip more and more,
Until you're not even sure,
If you're laying on the gurney,
Or writhing on the floor.
