Let Me Show You
By Sasha_Revengy
'I want nothing to do with love', you say.
'I want love and everything that comes with it', I say.
Opposites attract. Don't they?
We are prove of that theory.
You're as bad for me as the gasoline smell at a gas
station is to the lungs.
Yet, I gladly take you in with every breath.
You're wearing a caution sign on your forehead, but I
keep staring at your heart.
Ignoring all the warning signs.
You must think getting hurt is my mission.
I will ignore the conditions because, loving you is my mission.
I could say you don't know what love is but the truth is, you do.
The wrong kind though.
I could say I have the right kind. You wouldn't dare to listen.
I am willing to show you.
Give me a fair game.
I will break through those walls.
You could build them back up, right around us.
Nothing but love, let me show you.
I promise to make it worth the while, until the expiration date.
Or we could be like honey, and never get expired.

That's nice and sweet. I think it's easier said then done when one is warned about love. Some experiences are worth experiencing regardless of the consequences, and love is indeed one of them. Good job!
