The real fake Barbie.

By horrorchantenshi

She's got golden skin,
like she lived in the sun,
and brightly bleached hair,
That was just freshely done.

3 inches of makeup
caked onto her face
To cover and hide
what she thinks is disgrace.

Moved to a new school.
And erased her old past.
New wardorbe, new look
To be different at last.

Deleting bad memories
she hidden within
in house, not the streets,
Where she can live in.

Perfected her self.
And got a new name.
From emo and freak,
to fashion and fame.

Her past has been hidden,
but still in her mind,
new friends, new desicions
The perfect disguise.

Sweet scar remover,
was the top of her list,
Twas' the first thing she used,
and never they're missed.

Just lies upon lie,
claims, "nothing can harm me"
yet in night she still cries,
She's the real fake Barbie.

it me again... I have a habit of when I read a new poet I read ALL of there work. you have talent... that's for sure.. your pain is so real and the depth is about to drown me, but the words make it hard to follow without re-reading it a few times. You know you can edit any of your work at any time? Just a suggestion. I really enjoy your work tho. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. ;)
