Here Alone
I sit
I stare
At a photo
I am not there
I watch the photo and see three beautiful smiles.

I am jealous because he is there
I am jealous for he has someone who cares
I am jealous for he has devotion
I am jealous for he has love

What do I have ?
A head of doubt.
A heart frozen in ice
A mouth that only talks in Lies

I guess that’s no big surprise.
I look at the photo
I sit
I stare
I wonder why I even care
Perhaps it’s because I am not there.

Great write, thanks for sharing.
