Blood Lifted

By SaintNHB

Fresh burning taste on my tongue
from flying through the air
Crisp moonlight in the sky high hung
I can feel my scars all there,
Only difference is, I haven't got a care
My weakness always was your heartbeat standing bare
In front of me clean and soft
Like worn out books found in my loft -
Weathered with use and knowledge

And my only sorrow is loneliness
While still drifting in my shadows
I'm no longer heavied by my mistakes
I wont feel that until I wake
I am always miserable at the realization
I have to do it all again

I'm a fiend for what I don't know
So reckless with the wise I've earned

Thank you... Fall is the best time of the year. It shows how beautiful death can be, with all the trees turning lovely colors. Giving in to a crisp clean white.
