Blood Lifted

Fresh burning taste on my tongue
from flying through the air
Crisp
moonlight in the sky high hung
I can feel my scars all there,
Only
difference is, I haven't got a care
My weakness always was your heartbeat
standing bare
In front of me clean and soft
Like worn out books
found in my loft -
Weathered with use and knowledge
And
my only sorrow is loneliness
While still drifting in my shadows
I'm no longer heavied by my mistakes
I wont feel that until I wake
I am always miserable at the realization
I have to do it all again
I'm a fiend for what I don't know
So reckless with the wise
I've earned
