Tiger

By FrozenButterfly

No more whispers she
So venemously
I wondered at the tone
If I could have but witnessed the narrow cat's eyes
Glittering darkly
While she pronounced the time for toying was over
But my tears prevented this
The very thought of letting her leave
Unthinkable
So with a pronounced flex
She pounced
I hadn't known better
And I let those claws sink in
Figuring it wouldn't do much harm and yet
Something told me
As she dug those knives inside with a growl of satisfaction
She would never let go
