I drift through life
Riding a dark presence
I have seen the dying
of the light
The saving grace has slipped away
My only chance
for redemption
Engulfed by the darkness
Swallowed by the shadows
Bound to the empty blackness that I have become
Never again to witness
the dawn
Forever trapped in a veil of deceit
Condemned to wonder
this existence alone
My head slips under completely submerged
I
do not fight and I do not cry
I openly welcome my fate
No one
can save me
