Locked within, her heart her own,
Her love is lost, her anger grown.

She pulls away from softness touch,
A sneer below, a darkened clutch.

Although another looks her way,
Dark of red with collar grey.

The Otherkin Lord, with wings spread wide
Bequeaths her gaze, without her chide.

I too hate them, they tear my soul
They burn it out, they eat it whole.

Shall I join you, or you join me,
Let us both hate them, for eternity.

Bound in dark, with poetry spoken.
No love held here, just hearts now broken.

Our language known, in black of mind.
Hatred wrought has made us blind.

But should a day eclipse this dark
And flare within a loving spark.

I'll be there near, for yours to hold
Red poppies swaying under sun so gold.

The sky above, in brightest blue
A dragon spelled by none but you
