Tears to Rivers

Tears are the rivers and streams
that flow backwards,out of the ocean
and down into the bottom of the universe.

Tears are like waves,
lapping at the shore,
always there and ready,
to spill over at any given moment.

Tears come from many things,
The tears of sadness,
are the waves of emotion,
that wash over you  when you least expect it

Tears of joy,
are the happiest moments of your lives.
And the tears of confusion, 
are cold and lonely like 
a forgotten hot spring gone cold
 
Tears are the rivers and they are the streams
that carry away harsh words and throw them away,
into the ocean like an unwanted beach toy.
